Was concerned this morning when I had to go back to my room instead of having breakfast, you guessed it, my stomach was not happy at all. Not feeling well on the bus trip and then there's an armored personnel carrier parked outside the press center, what's that about! I was teary on my call with Chris, felt like crawling home (my real home). But I had heard that some folks had a little meltdown after a week or so, so I forged on, took the medication I could to help and kept moving. Low and behold as you can see I made it back to Mao's place in the afternoon. The day was hot as a dog's breath but clear with blue skies! I went with Greg, (the guy who ate the seahorse) who has become my running buddy since we are on the same work schedule. I even like this photo of me! I think the fire extinguisher is in case someone sets them self on fire! And, finally got to take a picture on one of my favorite signs here in Beijing...Smiling Beijing Traffic Police! You'll notice they gave them round eyes, that's cause Chinese traffic cops don't really smile.
