I went to the Water Cube last night for the heats of the women's 50-meter freestyle event. How cool is that! Got to see Dara Torres in action (that is the 41 year-old American). I didn't get her photo in action, too busy watching.
However here is the media entrance; the view from the media seats; action during one of the heats; the walls close-up. I am sure our Martin in Switzerland, being an architect, knows the reality of this place, maybe you all do, to me it looked like giant plastic bags! And that is my friend and co-worker Amy, one of the nicest people on the planet, waiting for my arrival.
